Dr. Rayne Rouce honored by Outstanding Women in Science Award

HOUSTON – (August 04, 2021) – Dr. Rayne Rouce, hematologist/oncologist at Texas Children’s Cancer Center recently received the 2021 Outstanding Women in Science Award from the Association for Women in Science – Gulf Coast Houston.

“It is such an honor to be recognized as an Outstanding Woman in Science. The journey that many women take on their pathway to becoming a scientist and the roadblocks that arise are often both less traditional and unique,” said Rouce, who is also an assistant professor of pediatrics – hematology/oncology at Baylor College of Medicine.
